Frequently asked questions

Honest answers, before the first call.

Most of the questions people ask me before we work together. If yours isn't here, send it over — I'd rather you ask than wonder.

Is this for you?

Honest disqualifiers, in both directions.

Coaching only works when there's a real fit. Here's how I think about it before we ever talk.

A great fit if…

  • You're taking on something that matters and want a thinking partner who's honest with you.
  • You're willing to do real reflection between sessions, not just talk in them.
  • You're navigating a transition — a role, a degree, a leap — and want structure around it.
  • You're a high-achiever quietly stretched thin and want to perform without burning out.
  • You want feedback that's kind and direct, not flattery.

Probably not the right fit if…

  • You're looking for someone to tell you exactly what to do — try consulting or mentorship.
  • You're navigating active mental-health concerns that need clinical care — therapy is the right starting point.
  • You want a one-session magic fix. Coaching works through reps over weeks and months.
  • You're not ready to change anything about how you currently spend your time or attention.
  • You're being pushed into coaching by someone else and don't actually want to be there.

Not sure where you land? The intro call exists for exactly that. If coaching isn't right, I'll often suggest someone or something that is.
